IndieSEO
Privacy
This policy applies to the IndieSEO app. Use of this website is covered by the FromTheShower website privacy policy.
Your work stays on your Mac
IndieSEO Projects and scan results stay on your Mac. IndieSEO contacts a website when you scan or re-check it.
Search Console is optional
IndieSEO only connects to Google Search Console when you explicitly choose to connect it. It requests read-only access and uses that evidence alongside its own site analysis.
Purchases and licence checks
Lemon Squeezy processes purchases and checks your licence. IndieSEO sends the licence key and a random installation identifier for that purpose, at most once a day.
Updates
IndieSEO contacts FromTheShower’s update service about once a day to look for new versions. It sends no site data, scan results, or personal information.
Feedback and email
If you use the feedback form, it sends what you type, plus the IndieSEO and macOS versions, to our support inbox. Your email address is optional.
If you leave your email address for a download link or IndieSEO updates, we use it only for that. You can unsubscribe anytime.
